Little Black Dress Styles part 1 – Add Flair

The little black dress, or LBD,  that go-to answer to many style needs, comes in different lengths and silhouettes to flatter any figure. Featured here in this celebrity inspired style post is Emma Roberts who attended The Kindred Foundation For Adoption Inaugural Fundraiser earlier this month. The actress walked the red carpet in  in the “Exaggerated Flounce Dress”  by Cynthia Rowley (a sleeveless version of an earlier dress)  and Stuart Weitzman  heels. The flared shift silhouette LBD  is a great option to have in your closet as it is figure-friendly and the movement that such a silhouette can have is an accessories in itself.

Ali Landry attended the Cinderella premier in a Michael Costello cocktail dress. With echoes of the blue-and-black or white-and-gold “great #TheDress debate“, the Daily Mail dubbed Ali Landry’s dress midnight blue but clearly this is a black dress, so I call this an LBD-esque dress (that’s my story and I stick with it!)

So blue or black? See  video of Ali Landry walking the red carpet and LBD styles inspired by this dress after the jump!
